Tinkerbell and the Magic Clarinet
Will Tinkerbell (Orit Orbach) find her way to Neverland? A search for the magical melody in a concert combining works and tunes in various styles from Mozart to Gershwin, Freilach and Israeli songs, with conductor Talia Ilan and a string quartet.
The mischievous and adventurous fairy Tinkerbell arrived flying into the Forest of Sounds. But alas, she cannot find her way back to “Never Never Land.” As a gesture, she receives from the forest fairy the magic clarinet, but it will only play if sprinkled with fairy dust. Will Tinkerbell succeed in finding the dust that will lead her on her journey back home to “Never Never Land”?
Our soloist clarinetist Orit Orbach is our Tinkerbell, who will perform a concert spanning a variety of musical styles in the clarinet’s wide repertoire: from the works of Mozart, Rossini, Mendelssohn, Monti, Benny Goodman, Giora Feidman, Verdi, Freilach, and tunes from beloved musicals.
The repertoire includes works by: Mozart, Grieg, Weber, Mendelssohn, Haydn, Monti, Scott Joplin, Gershwin, from Walt Disney films and Hassidic dances.
