Orit Orbach appeared as soloist with many orchestras as The Israel Philharmonic conducted by Zubin Mehta, The Jerusalem Symphony, The Israel Chamber Orchestra, San Francisco Sinfonietta, Sofia Philharmonic, Colorado Symphony, Hagen Symphony and Warsaw Philharmonic.
Ms. Orbach was principal Clarinetist of the Jerusalem Symphony, the Israel Symphony, Rishon Le Zion and the Haifa Symphony. She participated in many festivals, including The most prestigious Marlboro Festival, USA, The Tanglewood Music Festival, Neustadt International Chamber Festival, Warsaw Jewish Music Festival, Canberra International Chamber Music Festival , San Francisco Jewish Music Festival and more .
She collaborates with many renowned musicians such as Shlomo Mintz, Daniel Barenboim, Yuri Bashmet, Raphael Wallfisch, David Soyer, Michael Tree and Murray Perahia.
Except for her busy Classical career, Orit specializes in Jewish music. For the past 20 years Orit performs worldwide as soloist and with a variety of ensembles Ethnic Jewish Music, introducing a fusion of ethnic and Classical . Among the ensembles is the “Eve’s Women Band”, a highly appreciated women ensemble which performs Jewish music in new styles as Jazz, Rock, Middle Eastern, Balkan. Eve’s Women brings together a new style- the Jazz- Ethno- Jewish Music with a strong exotic feminine touch.
Orit Gives unique master classes for Clarinetists and special workshops around the world. Besides her Clarinet unique techniques, she masters in Klezmer music, introducing this style in a practical and exciting way to all instruments. After years of research, Orit created a very successful workshop on ‘Stage Fright”, and the results are amazing.
Orit is a conductor as well, specializing in wind orchestras. Orit conducts the Netanya Conservatory young orchestras and the Netanya Community Wind Orchestra, NCWO.
The Vast career of Ms. Orbach includes being a judge in international competitions. She was the judge at the Penderecki International Contemporary Competition in Poland, The Virgin Islands competition, The Spring International competition and The America- Israel Cultural Foundation in Israel and the Paul ben Haim Competition.
Orit received with honors her MM degree at the New England Conservatory and her MM from North Western University.
She won first prizes in the music Concerto competition in the New England Conservatory and the Concerto competition in Northwestern University.
